Our HIPAA-compliant platform enables real-time dose adjustments and medication management, keeping treatment on track regardless of location or schedule.

Comprehensive Allergy Services Available

We treat peanut allergies through both Palforzia and custom oral immunotherapy programs. For tree nut allergies, we use component-resolved diagnostics that pinpoint exactly which proteins trigger reactions—whether it's walnuts, cashews, almonds, pistachios, pecans, hazelnuts, or macadamia nuts.

Our testing arsenal includes skin prick testing to check immediate reactions, serum-specific IgE blood panels that measure antibody levels, and supervised oral food challenges performed right here in our office under careful medical observation. We handle milk allergies using baked milk challenges and casein-specific protocols, while our egg allergy programs feature graduated baked egg introduction and ovomucoid testing. Sesame allergies get the same thorough approach with component testing and cross-reactivity assessment.

Medically supervised oral immunotherapy programs provide gradual desensitization through carefully calibrated dose escalation protocols. We also handle anaphylaxis prevention with personalized emergency action plans, epinephrine auto-injector training, and co-factor risk management for severe reactions. Families benefit from convenient telemedicine appointments via Doxy.me for OIT dose adjustments, medication management, and ongoing allergy education, ensuring continuous care coordination from home.

Telemedicine Food Allergy Care via Doxy.me Platform

Northridge families experience seamless virtual care through our HIPAA-compliant Doxy.me telemedicine platform, eliminating the need for travel for routine follow-ups and monitoring appointments. This secure online consultation system enables oral immunotherapy dose adjustments, medication management, and treatment progress reviews from your home.

For ongoing OIT monitoring, our virtual care setup allows us to make immediate dose modifications based on how you're responding without the wait for the next office visit. Remote follow-up appointments track treatment progress, address reaction concerns, and provide personalized allergy education sessions tailored to each family's specific triggers and lifestyle needs. Patients benefit from convenient medication management consultations, including antihistamine optimization, epinephrine auto-injector training refreshers, and emergency action plan updates.

The Doxy.me platform maintains full HIPAA compliance while delivering the same expert care quality as in-person visits. Virtual sessions work well for ongoing care coordination for insurance plan members, maintaining treatment momentum regardless of location or schedule constraints.

Specialized Pediatric Food Allergy Care for Northridge Children

Children throughout the Northridge area benefit from our specialized pediatric allergy programs designed specifically for young patients. Our child-focused oral immunotherapy protocols adapt dosing schedules to accommodate school hours and extracurricular activities, ensuring minimal disruption to academic and social development.

We build emergency action plans tailored to each child's daily life—plans that cover meal prep at home, ingredient label reading, cafeteria safety, and guidelines for outings with friends. These personalized strategies address how food allergies actually show up in your child's world. Family education sessions through our Doxy.me telemedicine platform teach parents how to read ingredient labels effectively, prepare safe meals for one child while siblings eat differently, and build your child's confidence in self-advocacy.

Our collaborative approach includes direct communication with pediatricians and healthcare coordinators, ensuring seamless care transitions and emergency preparedness. Children covered by major insurance plans receive age-appropriate allergy education alongside their treatment, building confidence and independence in managing their food allergies.

Advanced Immunodeficiency and Infusion Services

Food Allergy Care Center provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders affecting residents throughout the region, extending our expertise beyond food allergies to address complex immune system dysfunction. Our specialized protocols evaluate patients experiencing recurrent infections, autoimmune complications, or immune system irregularities that may complicate allergy management.

Our medically supervised IV infusion therapy serves patients with chronic immunologic conditions requiring specialized treatment through carefully monitored intravenous protocols. These advanced services address complex cases where traditional oral medications prove insufficient, providing targeted therapy for patients who need intensive immune system support.

We coordinate care with specialists at nearby medical facilities, ensuring comprehensive treatment for patients requiring multidisciplinary approaches. Patients benefit from our telemedicine consultations via Doxy.me for ongoing immunodeficiency monitoring, medication management, and infusion therapy follow-ups from home. Food Allergy Care Center provides comprehensive asthma treatment for families throughout the region, recognizing that many food allergy patients also experience asthma symptoms. Our expert evaluation includes pulmonary function testing to measure lung capacity and identify specific triggers affecting patients.

Our eczema treatment programs address atopic dermatitis through identification of both food and environmental triggers. We evaluate how milk, egg, and peanut allergies contribute to eczema flares while simultaneously assessing environmental factors. Chronic hives diagnosis and treatment covers both acute and chronic urticaria patterns, with specialized evaluation to identify underlying food triggers versus environmental causes. When you're dealing with multiple allergic conditions at once, our integrated approach proves essential—we create coordinated treatment plans that address asthma inhalers, eczema topical therapies, and oral immunotherapy protocols all at the same time.

Convenient telemedicine appointments via Doxy.me enable ongoing monitoring of asthma control, eczema progression, and hives patterns from home. We accept major insurance plans for these interconnected allergy services.

Medication and Vaccine Allergy Testing Services

Food Allergy Care Center provides specialized medication and vaccine allergy testing for residents experiencing adverse reactions to antibiotics, pain medications, chemotherapy agents, or vaccines. Our medically supervised drug challenge testing protocols safely evaluate suspected medication allergies under controlled conditions, distinguishing true allergic reactions from medication side effects or intolerance.

Vaccine allergy testing proves essential for patients requiring immunizations but experiencing reactions to components like egg proteins, gelatin, or preservatives. We develop safe administration protocols for immunizations when medically appropriate. Our specialized evaluation includes skin testing and graded vaccine challenges. Alternative medication recommendations help patients avoid problematic drugs while maintaining effective treatment for chronic conditions. We identify safe antibiotic alternatives for patients with specific drug sensitivities, ensuring continued access to infection treatment without compromising safety.

Patients benefit from telemedicine consultations via Doxy.me for medication allergy follow-ups and alternative drug counseling from home. We accept Medicare, Tricare, and Cigna insurance for these specialized testing services.
